Marathon Basin Wool is located on our family ranch, just north of Marathon, Texas. The Trans Pecos and Hill Country regions of Texas have a long tradition of fine wool production, and our families have been part of this legacy.

 

The wool mill is owned and operated by Seth and Bonnie Warnock. Bonnie's family has been raising sheep near Marathon since the 1890's and Seth's has been ranching in the Hill Country just as long. Our wool mill is a new chapter in our ranching heritage and our love of fiber.

All of our fleeces come from sheep raised in the Texas Hill Country or the Trans-Pecos region of Texas. You will be supporting the local Texas sheep industry and sustainable ranching practices when you purchase a product from our wool mill.
